About Moshi Co-operative University (MoCU)

Moshi Co-operative University (MoCU) is a public university located in Moshi Municipality, Kilimanjaro Region, Tanzania. It was officially established on September 4, 2014, after evolving from the Moshi University College of Co-operative and Business Studies (MUCCoBS) and, earlier, from the Co-operative College Moshi, founded in 1963.

Admission Requirements

Applicants must meet minimum qualifications as specified by the Tanzania Commission for Universities (TCU) and NACTE:

Non-Degree:

  • CSEE with at least four passes (excluding religious subjects)

Undergraduate (Form VI):

  • Two principal passes totaling 4.0 points or equivalent qualification

Equivalent Entry:

  • Relevant diploma from a NACTE-accredited institution with a GPA ≥ 3.0

Postgraduate:

  • A Bachelor’s degree or its equivalent in a relevant field
