Entry Requirements by Programme
1. Basic Technician Certificate Programmes (NTA Level 4)

A relevant certificate (NVA Level 3) from a recognized institution with a minimum duration of six (6) months.
2. Ordinary Diploma Programmes (NTA Level 5 & 6)
Direct Entry:

At least one principal pass and a subsidiary (totaling 1.5 points) in the ACSEE.

Must have four passes in CSEE.
Equivalent Entry:

Basic Technician Certificate with a minimum GPA of 2.0.

CSEE with four passes or a Grade IIIA teaching certificate with a “C” average.

Candidates with nursing/midwifery qualifications are also considered if they meet CSEE standards.
3. Bachelor Degree Programmes (NTA Level 7–8)

Before 2014: Two principal passes with a total of 4.0 points (A=5, B=4, etc.)

2014–2015: Two Cs (C=2) with a total of 4.0 points

2016 onward: Two principal passes totaling 4.0 points
Must also have at least four O-level passes (Ds and above)
Equivalent qualifications must be recognized by NECTA, NACTE, or VETA
4. Postgraduate Diploma Programmes

A Bachelor’s degree or Advanced Diploma in a related field from a recognized institution.
5. Master’s Degree Programmes (NTA Level 9)
One-Year Programme:

Postgraduate Diploma or Bachelor’s in Social Work with a GPA of 2.7 or above

Two-Year Programme:

Bachelor’s degree or advanced diploma in Education, Sociology, Psychology, Health Sciences, or related field with a GPA of 2.7+
