The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) Tanzania is seeking qualified candidates to serve as a National Consultant for a Baseline Study on Artisanal and Small-Scale Mining (ASM) of critical minerals across Tanzania.

About the Assignment:

The selected consultant will undertake a comprehensive baseline assessment of Tanzania’s artisanal and small-scale mining (ASM) sector focused on critical minerals. The study aims to:

Collect and analyze relevant data
Map key actors and production trends
Provide policy recommendations to support formalization, sustainability, and inclusive development of ASM
